About Christiane Kingsley:

Christiane Kingsley is an award winning fine arts painter who works in watercolour, acrylic,oil and mixed media. She feels that painting is part of her DNA: on her mother’s side, she can trace professional /amateur painters back at least four generations.

After a career as a high-school teacher, Christiane joined the Public Service and retired in as a Director in 2010. Since, her art has become a full-time adventure which she loves passionately. She has been very involved in the Ottawa arts community over the last decade.

As a life-long learner, Christiane has studied with several internationally-known artists such as Linda Kemp (Canada), Caroline Jasper (Florida), Kevin Dodds (Canada), John Bayalis (Florida) and oil painter Nancy Medina from Texas.

Christiane’s work can be found in private and corporate collections in Canada, USA, Australia, Europe and Great Britain.
